CDO Leaps to 14th Place in Philippines’ Top 100 Brands in Asia’s Top 1000 Brands Survey
CDO bags one of the highest spots for a Filipino brand in Asia’s Top 1000 Brands. It comes in at 14th this year beating out many other top Filipino brands especially those in the packaged food industry for the Philippines’ Top 100 brands.
The pandemic took its toll last year and hit the economy quite strongly. Consumer brands struggled to keep ahead as many consumers tightened their belts and reduced their spending altogether. But as consumers have gotten used to the pandemic lockdown lifestyle, many top brands have started to make a comeback and CDO is definitely leading the way with its impressive jump in ranking by 355 spots beating many of the other popular brands.
According to Earl Javier, planning director at McCann Worldgroup Philippines, the brands that stood out were the ones that offered tangible practical help and found ways to address the consumption needs that brought about the change in lifestyle because of the pandemic.
CDO is leading the way in both fronts with the launch of its new brand identity, its ramped up delivery service and strong community presence through its CSR projects, including supporting the country’s vaccination program. It is no wonder the company jumped to the 14th spot on this year’s list as they have shown they are truly a reliable and responsible brand.
