  • Red mung beans
  • Small plastic cups or popsicle molds
  • Popsicle sticks

Procedure:

  1. Dissolve your cornstarch in your water.
  2. Combine your sugar, buko meat, coconut milk, and buko juice on a pan over medium heat. Let this boil.
  3. Once your mixture is boiling, slowly add your cornstarch and water mix. This will help thicken the mixture, improving the iced buko’s texture once frozen. Let this mixture boil. Once it does, transfer it to another container to let it cool. Set this aside for later.
  4. Place your red beans inside your molds or plastic cups. Next, add the CDO Kaong on top of the red beans.
  5. Once your beans and CDO Kaong are evenly portioned, add your buko mixture until the molds are filled.
  6. Place a popsicle stick on each cup or mold, exactly at the center.
  7. Place your iced buko popsicles in the freezer and wait until they’re frozen to serve.

This famed dessert is best after a family lunch. After all, nothing’s better than sharing sweet treats and stories with your loved ones.

Coconut Panna Cotta with CDO Coco Jelly Bits

For those looking for fancier dessert options, this recipe is for you. Panna Cotta is an Italian custard that’s served in many high-end restaurants. This doesn’t mean you can’t make it at home- in fact, Panna Cotta is so easy to prepare, you can do it with your kiddos.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • CDO Coco Jelly bits
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 2 packs of gelatin
  • 2 cans of coconut milk
  • White sugar
  • Tall glasses (to be used as mold)

Procedure:

  1. Combine your 2 packs of gelatin with your 1 cup of hot water in a pan. Mix this thoroughly. Set this aside for about ten minutes. This waiting time helps rehydrate the gelatin powder.
  2. After the ten-minute waiting time, place your pan over medium heat. Add your 2 cans of coconut milk.
  3. Stir in your preferred amount of white sugar. Let this boil until the sugar dissolves.
  4. While you wait for your gelatin mixture to boil, you can prepare the molds. In your tall glasses, place about a tablespoon of CDO Coco Jelly Bits at the bottom.
  5. Lastly, gently pour in your gelatin mix into the molds until it almost fills them up. Put this in the fridge until it sets.
  6. Serve.

To add a bit of color to your Panna Cotta, you can use flavored or colored gelatin. CDO Coco Jelly Bits come in white, a hue that pairs well with most colors. Give your creativity a little wiggle room and make an artsy experience out of this recipe.
