Japanese dishes have grown in popularity over the past few years with more and more specialty restaurants popping up every day. What’s great though is that anyone can actually easily enjoy Japanese cuisines even at the comfort of their own homes! If you’re in the mood for some Torikatsu Curry – a dish made from fried breaded chicken cutlet topped with curry sauce on a bed of rice – you can make one at home by using CDO Premium Torikatsu.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 pack CDO Premium Torikatsu
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 1 pc whole white onion, sliced in quarter
  • 2 pcs carrot, sliced into large cubes
  • 2 pcs potato, sliced into large cubes
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 pack Japanese curry roux cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

Step 1

Preheat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Deep fry the frozen CDO Premium Torikatsu for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 2

Remove the cooked Torikatsu from the pan and drain the excess oil.

Step 3

In a pot, sauté the sliced onion over medium heat for 2 minutes or until translucent.

Step 4

Add the sliced potatoes and carrots to the pot and sauté for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add the water to the pot and let it simmer. Once simmering, add the Japanese curry roux cubes and let it cook for an additional 15 minutes. Mix occasionally.

Step 6

Plate the cooked curry sauce with rice and top with one piece of cooked CDO Premium Torikatsu. Serve while hot.
