Public Advisory: Halal Update

Dear Valued Consumers,

Since 1975, CDO Foodsphere has remained committed to nourishing Filipino homes across all ethnicities and cultures.

As communicated through an advisory dated April 5, 2023, we have been undergoing thorough reviews of our processes with the Alliance for Halal Integrity in the Philippines Inc. (AHIP) and Ulama Conference of the Philippines (UCOP). At this point, we have decided to temporarily remove the Halal logos from our Frozen and Canned Meat Products certified by UCOP. However, for some Canned Meat Products, the certification from Prime Certification and Inspection Asia Pacific Inc. remains valid.

Please be guided accordingly.

We will continue to collaborate with the concerned agencies and certifying bodies to ensure that our manufacturing sites and processes fully support the requirements of our Muslim consumers.

We extend our gratitude to these organizations and to the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos for their guidance, as we strive to achieve full Halal compliance.
