Check out the tuna dishes Sarah and Matteo can’t stop gushing about!
Every day is filled to the brim with kilig for celebrity couple, Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli and Matteo Guidicelli. One thing that makes their relationship stronger feel like an extended honeymoon stage is their shared love for good food.
In their latest video for San Marino Corned Tuna called Love Kitchen, Sarah and Matteo, or more commonly known together as AshMatt, answered some kilig questions from their fans and shared some fun relationship secrets. Plus we get to see them cook and work around the kitchen!
Using San Marino Corned Tuna that is punong-puno ng tuna sarap, the couple shares two delicious dishes that are very simple to make. Check them out below:
Tuna Melt Sandwich
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 can San Marino Corned Tuna 180g
- ¼ cup red onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsps butter
- 6 bread slices
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 6 slices melting cheese
- 2 tbsps parsley
- 2 tbsps celery, chopped
Procedure:
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the San Marino Corned Tuna with mayonnaise, onions, celery, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- To assemble your sandwich, grab two pieces of bread and spread butter on the sides not facing the filling.
- Next, spread your tuna mixture liberally on the bottom bread. Top with three slices of tomatoes and then a layer of quick melt cheese. Do these for all your sandwich ingredients.
- Finally, bake your sandwich in a toaster oven until the cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
Tuna Pasta
Here’s what you’ll need
- 1 can San Marino Chili Corned Tuna 180g
- 200g penne pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup leeks, sliced
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- Green olives
Procedure:
- Cook your penne pasta according to package instructions.
- Saute your garlic, onion, lemon juice, olives, and tomatoes in a pan over medium heat.
- Let your sauce simmer for three minutes to let it thicken.
- Next, stir in the San Marino Corned Tuna and cook penne pasta. Make sure to mix the pasta and sauce thoroughly to evenly distribute your ingredients.
- Serve warm.
